The School District Podcast: Talking Edtech

katie ritter on the school district podcast with adam welcome

Several weeks ago, Adam Welcome reached out to me on Twitter to see if I would be willing to be a guest on The School District podcast as a part of his series interviewing instructional coaches & to discuss all things edtech… of course I said yes! What an honor ☺️.

If you’re not familiar with Adam’s work, he’s a long time educator, does a number of speaking engagements across the country, hosts a few podcasts, and has written a few books. Most notably, is his book Kids Deserve It! with Todd Nesloney. Plus, he’s just an all around genuinely nice human, and the world needs more of those!

The School District podcast started as The Principal Crew, where Adam focused on interviewing principals. More recently, he rebranded it to open up his podcast to educators from all walks of life. I love listening to hear from so many different perspectives on so many different topics in education.

We had a great morning chatting about all things edtech, where to help a teacher get started, the “right device,” book recommendations, and more. I’m excited to share it with you. You can listen to The School District podcast on iTunes, Spotify, Google, or Breaker… or below!

After listening, what advice would you give to a teacher looking to get started? What about a school district looking for the “right device”? Share your ideas in the comments below.

Tech To You Later!
