It’s hard to believe another year of Ohio’s Educational Technology Conference is already here! I’m excited to be experiencing the conference in a different way this year…
I’ll be helping Eric Curts and a few others with the GEG Ohio Meetup (Google Educator Group). This session will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 8:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. in E160-162. This was one of my favorite sessions last year.
If you are an educator in Ohio (or anywhere else, but attending the conference), I highly recommend attending this session! It’s short and sweet, but it allows you to connect with other educators facing the same challenges and hear about their creative solutions for solving those problems with Google Apps.
I’m also excited to represent Google Educators in one more way at the conference in the Apple Distinguished Educators vs. Google Certified Innovators: The Ultimate Battle session! I’ll be on the Certified Innovator team (haven’t had a chance to blog about it, but I was accepted to the Mountain View, CA class of Innovators– I’ll ship off to California in a couple weeks to complete the academy!!!) with Eric Curts, Danielle Filas and Andreas Johansson facing off with some Apple Distinguished Educators.
This session will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 3:45 PM – 4:30 PM in E160-162. It should be a fun event with a handful of rounds- some of which, we’ve been preparing for the past week! Click here for information about the session on OETC’s website.
Can’t wait to see everyone there. What are you most looking forward to?
