November 4th is International Coach Appreciation Day! Some people accused me of making it up, but I didn’t! Elena Aguilar- coaching extraordinaire- did in this EdWeek article.
So, if you know an instructional coach, show them a little extra love and appreciation today for all that they do to support educators and students. If you are a coach, treat yourself to that extra latte or piece of cake today! 😉
I celebrated the “UNICOACHES” on my team at Forward Edge last Friday since I wouldn’t see them today. Why unicoaches, you ask? Well, edtech coaches are a very rare breed that make magic happen in schools everyday! 🦄
All kidding aside, it takes an extremely unique set of skills to work with all types of personalities, all grade levels, and all content areas on any given day. Not to mention to do it well and do it with a smile. I love being a part of this team so much, and I am so honored to work with every one of these unicoaches!
